In the last few days, eleven works have been posted to the AO3 collection. The latest five I read (all stunning stories by eldritcher) made me speechless, or actually so wordy that I still haven't got to comment on most of the others.
A fic of 2000 or fewer words is a great opportunity to give a try to a pairing you've never read before, even to a most improbable one. And this seems to be a wonderfully challenging length for showing how the characters develop their relationships in the contexts of their lives and the HP world. I recommend you check out the ten fics and one piece of fanart in the collection or either on DW or on LJ and let the creators hear from you. And stay tuned for more!
Oh, anybody is welcome to join in granting wishes. You can find the instructions and the lists of wishes on the community's two journals (links above) and you've got time until the end of August.
As for my fic writing, I still haven't even chosen whose wish I'd try to grant. I hope the Weasley prompts will inspire me to write a fill at the comment fest. Now I'm still working slowly on a story for the Wolfstar Fixit Fest.
