Pimp Your Favorite Communities, Fests or Challenges!



After the eight year’s absence, I haven’t found many active communities, fests or challenges yet.

In 2019 I enjoyed participating in hp_halloween, where I got to read excellent double drabbles and also wonderful comments.

It was fun to write also for small_gifts (Remus/Sirius Small Gifts), which I used to participate in before my hiatus, when the community was still on Livejournal and the R/S fandom truly active right there.

hoggywartyxmas is still on Livejournal, where it was founded around the time when I left. I joined only a month ago, too late to offer fic but in time to enjoy the grand opening and to contribute quite a few comments. They say that this fest generates some of the best new HP fanfic out there.

HP Halloween is such a fun fest and I LOVE hoggywartyxmas the writing is so terrific. I've only played once, but I must put it on my list for next year if I have capacity. It's such a great fest.

I should have commented more and also tried to friend people at HP Halloween, but I was a bit confused as it was on both DW and LJ, and I didn’t realise that people could track their mod-posted fics and notice and reply to comments later as well. I, too, hope to write for Hoggywartyxmas next time.
